The Department of Health and Human Services proposed a new rule that encourages health care providers to discriminate against patients and refuse to provide care and information under the pretext of their religious or moral beliefs.

I posted that this was being pushed in by the Trump Administration. Not a good step to take. We have Doctors Without Borders who will patch up patients no matter what side they are on. Now in the USA we will have the Doctors and Nurses refusing to provide care if the person doesn't meet some "condition" to their faith. They all need to offer the medical services to everyone who comes to them in need, if they can't do that they shouldn't be in the profession.

Religious freedom laws are simply freedom to discriminate!!!
We kicked up a big fuss here when some right wingers suggested we need them, too!!

signed, as a family doctor I am embarrassed that the AMA and all medical groups are not out there vehemently protesting this, and I honestly believe that any provider that will not always try to do their best for these patients should stop practicing.......
