Start saving your used cooking oil and adding it to your fuel oil tank. Any and all such oils can extend your fuel oil a bit. Strain through something (cotton, nylon, etc) to remove solid particles. Heating oil, kerosene, and diesel fuel are differing purities of the same thing, use whichever is cheaper.
