Puppy mills hurt the animals just as much as taking an animal out and beating it in my book, some grow up with crooked bones, spines, and mis-aligned hips. Very mal-nourished, its all cruelty to animals.

With animal shelters overloaded with wonderfully adoptable dogs and cats I think we need very few breeders at this time. Instead what we actually have are thousands of them turning out massive numbers of animals, some of whom end up in shelters. The euthanazia rate is staggering and shameful.
