This koala looks rather sad. But who can blame him? According to Australia's Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (WIRES), the sub-adult male koala was recently discovered sitting atop the remnants of what was once his home in Vittoria

Heartbreaking, I could just cry and cry - what are we humans doing to our earth and its animals - it is unforgivable!

Similar repeats each and every day somewhere. Hope someone in our high tech society soon discovers a way to jumpstart the human brain.

Poor thing, Koalas are such a beautiful and gentle animal it is heartbreaking to see this. We here in Australia need to do more to protect our wildlife.

So sad to see the Koala's life sustaining environment robbed from him and many others.

Simply breaks my heart ;-( look what humans are doing to these creatures ... we don't have sole propriety over the Earth. These creatures own the Earth too. So, where do you plan to let them live now???

The critters always suffer at our hands. Humans can't control their overpopulation. The Earth can't support our vast numbers already and we have to keep decimating the planet for our needs.

I live in Victoria, Australia. We do not see these pictures here. The Koalas live on a eucalyptus leaf diet, once that food source is taken away by clear cutting they have little chance of survival. On top of that they also suffer from deceases that effects their breeding. I urge our state and federal governments to do more to protect these cuddly Koalas unique to Australia ONLY.

I saw these a few days ago.... We are killing the planet, and animals and humans as well are and will pay the price!! This image just breaks my heart.....
