Most people can say they were bullied at one point during school years. But most of us might not be able to claim that among our experiences with bullies, teachers also joined in.

S&N. How awful for the poor boy. The teachers should be reprimanded and fired. They should also apologize to the young man and his parents.

Noted, signed and commented. It'd be interesting to see what Congress does with a petition such as this in the state of Florida. Will they decide that it's good cause to keep teachers' pay among the bottom of the barrel? Will they leave the astonishing # of "F" graded schools alone? Ay yi yi!

Bullying is bullying, whether by a teacher or fellow students, but to bully an autistic child? Signed and commented!

Teaching children should always be considered a privilege, and our teachers should be held to the highest standards.

Absurd!!! Our culture is getting out of control, and including the teachers is the canary in the cave, for what may be coming!!! We've always had adults who need to tone down their messages from time to time, but the escalation of the 'bully' mentality is a marker that our society needs a behavioral re-adjustment!
{Thank You for Signing!)

It is terrible to think that any responsible leader of young minds would ever emotionally assault a student!

Signed. I wasn't bullied like that but I did have a couple teachers in high school that said things they shouldn't have. The ways things are happening makes me not want to send my future children to a public school.

Unfortunately, I have witnessed it otherwise. We should have much stricter regulations for teachers. They can ruin innocent little kids for the rest of their lives.

Replace teachers against robots, it works great. See in Japan as an example.

Noted, signed and shared. Teacher are supposed to.... teach... and the students are there to.... learn... and education should be as simple as that, with as much fun involved as possible, to as to create a healthy environment where everyone gains, and no one loses.

read and noted and signed the petition on 5-4-13 need less to say being a bully or being bullied by anyone is totally unacceptable and is also sending the wrong message congress and the president need to sign and pass a bill that would make this a felony crime all its doing is causing our children and teens to commit suicide because they can not take the abuse anymore and that's a shame we lose a life and the guilty party walks free that is not right nor is it fair laws need to be put in place to stop these unwanted crimes everyone just needs to get along with one another and not hurt anyone.

If a teacher doesn't want to help a student (especially a special needs student), then they need to find a different profession!!
