Tell Dunkin Donuts you don't believe Rachel Ray's scarf is a terrorist symbol and that you're disappointed in their decision to pull their ad and capitulate to the hysterical fringe of the right-wing blogosphere. Read more and sign the petition >>

Looks like Rachel Ray has a lawsuit against Michell Malkin for her statement linking her to terrorism. I can't believe that Dunkin Donuts fell for the false accusation. Maybe we should boycott Dunkin Donuts who supprt the real terrorists on Fox News. What a scam and a shame that so many people are hindered by the "politics of fear" a Bush trade policy, and even Hillary Clintoon jumped on the bandwagon of using the politics of fear with the more than 9-yeer old she used with the slepping chlildren of which many are going to be able to vote in November. One of the children in the ad has a web site, and she said she is not voting for Clinton. She is backing Obama. I certainly don't want Clinton answering the phone at 3:00am. She'd be too groggy from boozing all night to make a rational decision if one was needed. One of the "boys" eh Hillary sucking down a shot of Whiskey or maybe 2 or 3.

On the other News Item on this same subject were comments, that THIS SAME SCARF was worn by McCAIN'S DAUGHTER {said on the Olberman show}; and A MODEL IN A MERCEDES-BENZ AD.
Please SIGN THE PETITION and leave your outraged comments with the others!!!

I eat falafel and hummus -- oh, no, I shouldn't admit that in public! Never again! And I even knew an Ay-rab once -- I didn't know him that WELL, you understand, not to talk to or anything like that, I am just coming clean in case of any future investigation into my "connections". And I promise to get rid of my Middle Eastern cookbooks and history books right away! Are copies of Rumi and of the Arabian Nights all right to keep? Guess I better be on the SAFE side -- I won't miss 'em all that much! Cancel my belly-dance classes, too...... and stuff my antique silver Palestinian jewelry down the toilet....burying it in the back yard would be too risky......

THIS SAME SCARF was worn by McCAIN'S DAUGHTER {a photo on the Keith Olberman show}; and by A TV MODEL IN A MERCEDES-BENZ AD.
A POPULAR ACCESSORY, according to fashionable Department Store ads I've seen, for similar fringed scarves! Several Care2 members have said they own similar scarves, too.
I have seen both similar scarves, and real keffiyehs, worn on the streets and on college campuses -- it is a fad from time to time, worn by both men and women. On either the head, the neck, or around the waist.
{Real traditional keffiyehs are checked, NOT paisley or plaid or any other design!}
And, British forces have worn keffiyehs -- obviously a PRACTICAL style in the Middle East desert with blazing sun, to keep the head & neck protected!
This is REALLY OUTRAGEOUS and not at all trivial and should not be treated as a trivial thing!

What person, what small detail of daily life, will be pilloried, stigmatized, and "made a scarey example of" next??????

The above comment of mine, in case anyone is thinking of taking it SERIOUSLY, should be labelled "Stalin's Russia". That's when you've REALLY got something to be scared of!

Uhhhh, if Rachel Ray is a terrorist, then so am I.
This move by Michell Malkin and Dunkin Donuts has
to be one of the stupidest things I've heard of lately.
Geez, talk about hypersensitivity! In the petition to
Dunkin, I told them that they remind me of people in the
1950's who were finding communists under every bed. I also
told them to stop pandering to the Fox News crowd, and stop
looking like the as*holes they are. Besides all that, IMHO,
their donuts aren't that good to start with. I believe I'll
be sticking with Krispy Kreme.
Thank you, Rosa,
and thank you, BMT, for sending me this!
