I heard that some researchers tried to build "biochips" years ago, but apparently their research didn't pan out.

Biological computers have a lot more potential than any one mind could conceive, even an intelligent and in-the-know mind! Possible applications that this widdle brain of mine can scare up include artificial limbs, treatments for certain neurological disorders - I'd better stop or I'll go on all evening, and Grandma is getting hungry.
