"Keeping monkeys as pets–or just keeping them in captivity–is not unheard-of in the United States" sorry but that is a complete LIE! there have been many instances where people have had monkeys as pets. 'Extreme Animal Rescue' looks at a few stories on this and there was a programme called 'My Monkey Baby'. where did these all come from? yes you got it. america

there's even this website: http://www.ehow.com/how_2056634_own-pet-monkey.html so that shows that the statement is bs
