When handled humanely, aquariums can offer a glimpse into teeming marine ecosystems we may never otherwise be able to see. Unfortunately humane handling of sea animals for aquariums isn't always the case, as in Hawaii ...

S&N Aquariums are pretty, but it isn't right to keep scooping every living thing out of the oceans and replacing them with garbage and pollution! I used to have an aquarium with tetras and such. Now I can be satisfied with phorographs and paintings.

As if humans aren't destroying this planet enough with all kinds of pollutants, killing endangered species to extinction, poisoning the atmosphere with CO2 etc., but now collectors are trying to steal the last of the magnificent coral reef fish. It is just incredible, and just to think how the fish would live in tanks instead of their own ocean and in their own coral reef. The limited space, poor quality water, no company, etc. Fish, almost all of them, swim in schools to avoid predatory fish trusting in numbers, but a few poor lonely wild fish in a tank just doesn't sound right. Countries with exquisite coral reefs and abundant coral reef fauna and flora, should ban such robberies by law and the mane of the crime could be violation of coral reef peace.

Unfortunately, aquariums will inevitably be the future for the coral/ marine invertabrates. Corals will soon not be able to tolerate rising sea temperatures and plummeting pH levels. Many Reefs have already begun to bleach. I think it's best allow the cultivation of corals.
