I eat plenty of these anyway (NOT lentils ~ ack ack ack!) ~ my diet is mostly plants. But some people have a medical condition that prevents us from metabolizing plant proteins, so I can't rely on them to meet my nutritional needs. Thanks for posting, my friend!

Delightful, I eat a lot of plant based foods in my omnivore diet and grow my own to stay out of Monsanto's dreaded clutches. Good for fibre - Canadian spelling for those thinking my spelling is off.

LOL, Barbara D. This goes to show that we are all so individual...I love lentils as my Mom made a marvellous lentil soup, so delightful, but I know we don't all like the same things. My lentil delight is most certainly not yours. Some people will run when they see a Brussels Sprout headed their way...they were likely subjected to mushy ones that were over cooked...or they just can't stand the smell and flavour of properly cooked ones and head for the exit. No doubt you cook wonderful veggies and legumes that you love.
