Last year the Cumbrian, Walney Wind Farm opened with 102 turbines 14 km from shore. Danish energy company Dong Energy has proposed to more than double the size of the existing wind farm. The expanded windfarm would be larger than the current world ....

Isn't it a pleasure to hear some good news?

I'm afraid that we Americans have allowed Big Business to gain a strong foothold on our government. The only way to 'fix' it, is to rid our legislature of the Big Business conservative legislators.

North America doesn't do this because we are owned by big oil. They make the laws and the rules and will get every drop of oil out of the ground by any means possible no matter what it does to the environment.
