Time to stop wasting so many tiny lives and start adopting spay and neuter programs instead of killing these animals because of senseless and irresponsible humans

Kit, you took action on December 14, 2013, #116. Thanks.

I left a message. I happen to believe that all shelters should be No Kill but if that is to happen then the town, county and state must be ready to fork over a lot of cash. Cats and dogs need to eat, need medical care, people must be paid to care for them in the shelters, even letting people know the animals are there and ready for adoption takes money. Be willing and ready to take on a huge fight for these animals, because most politicians have the budget ear marked for other things. Make presentations to the town/city council and have many others support your efforts. I would also recommend getting the Humane Society involved. I hope you are ready for a very big project. I wish you well.

Thanks Eco.. Have signed and noted. Without government help it is almost impossible for shelters to feed and care for the countless numbers of animals they receive each year BUT governments in most countries deem things like this to be very low priority against their work in sucking up to the large corporations and all the useless and planet destroying policies they pour money into.. We have to go on and on working towards making it illegal to have an un-neutered animal and to educate the public and children in school on responsible animal care so that this problem might die out with this generation. Currently I am feeding sixteen rescued cats and there is no funding whatsoever. and not much chance of finding homes for them. There will be another spate of unwanted kittens any minute now after Christmas! iI is a very hard job doing this in your own home and I know that I am not alone in doing this! We realise the enormous cost that shelters have to pay out.
