Thanks for alerting us at AIMI to the petition, Yvonne.

Did y'all hear that you may soon be unable to purchase B6 without a prescription? Apparently, FDA approved a drug which will utilize the active ingredient that is in B6, and that drug is patented. Therefore, there is some debate as to whether the folks who have been selling B6 without a patent for years and years will be allowed to continue.

Thank you all for noting and signing the petition. The sooner they get the target signatures the better, and the more we can show our "esteemed" politicians that we really do care and are willing to fight for our rights.
Mary - I did not hear abiout the B6 - that should not be allowed to happen - I take that daily.

Thank you for posting this. I am still reading the URL's. There is lots of information here to think about before signing the petition. But, much of it makes sense as I am reading. It sounds like some people have really put thought into what might work for all in this country. Any type of complete change in any of our systems, whether i be health care reform, government reform, and so forth makes for a scary time. People in general don't really like overall "change". We by nature like to keep things status quo, for the most part. That is why it is so difficult to make major changes in our nation on anything. Yet, the system is NOT working and has not worked in a very long time. We have to make changes and there will be things about a new health care system some will not like. But, that is just a part of life. It will never be where everyone is satisfied, but if we can get a majority that benefits and is helped by the changes, then that is a great thing.

Again thanks for posting this, and I am in as deep as my elbows right now reading the entire thing. :)
