Many people never imagine that a dog involved in the dog fighting rings coulbe a timid, loveable, female, pocket-sized pit bull with hundreds of scars on her body, a severely disrupted left wrist, and a mauled right leg missing a paw. This is Roo

Thank you for sharing this , I pray Roo will live a long happy uncruel life from now on, people that inflict such cruelty to innocent animals make me sick, maybe someday people will realize all life is precious ,and sacred, no living life deserves such cruelty.

God Bless you Roo and a big thanks to the people who were there to rescue this dog from such horrific abuse! I hope this woman who was responsible for such cruelty to so many dogs goes to prison for a long time! Love you Roo. Thanks Michael for this great post!

Awe... It breaks my heart but thankfully this one is saved. I would take him in ,in a second.

I read this and it shocked me. I live in an upper class suburb and there were dogs found in a dumpster after a fight just 2 minutes from me in a complex. I was appalled. What I found out was all these people who wanted to see the fight were parked and ummm.... shoot I can't think of the word. Blindfolded and into another van to be brought to the spot. Then brought back. These fighting situations are quite advanced. There was a little more that was mentioned. This is terrible.

I'm really happy this baby was saved. He has so much damage done to him. I really hope he gets spoiled with love and everything he deserves. I hate these people that can do this and the people that go to the fights need to be arrested, names publicized in the paper/on the news.

I hope the culprits that forced Roo into dog fighting are caught and jailed for a long time. Thank you to all from the rescue to caring and operating to ease Roo's pain! I had tears when I saw the picture.
Roo, may you be blessed with a wonderful caring forever home, and live a long happy life. You deserve it!!!
Thanks Michael,

She was such a sad dog, but yet she never gave up hope. Her life here is heaven on earth and will continue to be because she is loved. She now knows what a loving family is and she won't give that up easily.

I hope Roo has a loving home very soon. If any dog deserves it it's this one. When are we going to get that bill passed against dog fighting? I can't say in print what I feel toward humans that would allow this to happen.

"Arrests have been made in regards to this animal abuse case and charges have been pressed."

Thankful for that much - poor sweet Roo. She will get a home, she's beautiful!

Thank you Michael.

What a Beauliful girl Roo is.So happy to know she has been taken from that hellhole she was in.These people make me sick how they can treat such a beauliful animal in this way when all that poor girl wants is to be loved. These people are ill and unbalanced human beings and need to be in a mental hospital for the rest of there lifes as they are a danger to the public...This poor baby most of gone though hell trying to stay alive and it shows how strong this little Roo is,shes a fighter and she did it shes still alive wanted so much to LIVE.The person(s) who did this to her are heartless selfish scum cowards who do nothing but pick on innocent animals for there own buzz and pleasure.Theres nothing Fun about dog fighting, its EVIL...and more needs to be done to protect these kind of breeds against this as it happens to many times. These dogs have no chance to fight because if they dont fight, the people will only beat them intill they do or even kill them and the dogs know that, dogs are not stupid they know what is going on.I really do hope Roo will be able to walk again without any pain and live a long happy life with humans who know how to look after a dog whos been though so much, she deserves only the best.Get better baby u are a little miracle,so sorry that u had to go though this but theres good people still in this world who love u and iam one of them.

I keep saying it, but i just can't get over how trusting and loving an animal can be after it s treated so horribly by humans. May the rest of her life be filled with love and joy.

Notée. Les animaux ont une attitude et un amour sans fin sur lesquels les humains devraient prendre exemple au lieu de les abuser comme ils le font. Beaucoup d'amour pour toi, ma belle Roo.

God Bless all the animals in the world and those that love and care for them. Many curses on those that abuse, abandon, harm or kill and animal. I think our laws need to state that those that abuse animals, need to be financially responsible for their treatment and care for life. It should be like child support, but called animal support.
