According to a press conference and letter released by PETA last week, a number of recent films may have placed animals in potentially dangerous situations, despite the role of the American Humane Association (AHA) to monitor animals on set.

I've always been concerned about animals I see in movies. Except for 'Benji' because his owner directed/produced his movies and he knew Benji's limitations.

Hmmm! I've never liked live animal shows and like them in movies and tv even less. I was always freaked out for the poor horses in all of those war and cowboy movies. I don't think any of them volunteered to be actors. Thanks Barb, glad PETA's putting the smack down!!

Thanks Barb. Given all the violence on tv and movies I never understood how the animals (especially the horses) could be protected from harm.

The monitor on the sets need to be accountable for mistreatment and harm to the animals , As well as the
movie producers .

When we watched the movie 'Water for Elehants,' I cried like a baby when that creep owner mistreated that sweet baby!!
I am glad PETA is watching out for the animals!!
