OMG...really? Nothing like scaring the little guy, and his mom too. I can't fathom paying a $2,500 ticket for 'public urinating', geesh, he's only 3 years old.!!!!!!!!!! I hope that it gets thrown out in court. Thanks, Barb for this.

The poor baby was being potty trained and he couldn't hold it so he pulled his pants down and peed in his OWN FRONT YARD!! This is AMERICA!! If our toddlers are outside and can NOT HOLD their urine, they have every RIGHT to PEE IN THEIR FRONT/BACK YARD!!

OMG!! This is where the PC world has gone to insanity!! This is totally unbelievable!!!!!!!!! It is maddening!! A 3 year old is suppose to know the public laws in a community!? honoustly, I thought this was a joke. Seen to many grown man pee for free any-where to take this seriously. But in this world a bank can give away my money and even get paid extra on our tax-money for not sticking to fixed deals and lie all the time and the people need to pay judges to decide whats right or wrong, the system isn't real for once we use to know deep down what's right or wrong. Any judge, getting paid for handle this case is a joke itself and assures me that America is even more corrupt than I can imagine. Anyway she shouldn't pay, what ever is decided. They ought to lock this officer away in mental health care. He sure is a waste of time and money and not fit for his job. Lets see what they make of this. Whats next.

Noted...This is the type of story, that turns people against Cops...This guy obviously has no common sense...The kid was three years old, and he peed in his yard...no harm, no foul...This guy instead sees a chance to extort $2, 500 dollars out of a family...This Cop should be shamed out of the Police Force for this ridiculous action...If I were a grown man, or a teenager, I can see his actions being valid, but a three year old baby? I'm sure the kid didn't know what he was doing was wrong...No one was hurt, or traumatized...What was wrong with this Cop acting like a human being, and get a laugh out of what he said, I can't believe this ticket will hold up in Court, unless the Court goes along with the extortion, and make some money for their town...How embarrassing for those involved, especially the Cop...Does this Cop have any common sense at all? Good luck to the family involved...I sure hope the town doesn't take their money from them...He wasn't committing a crime for God Sakes...

This is the complete stupidity of a society gone mad. No one thinks anymore, like robots follow the rules and do not use common sense or good judgement. Certainly society needs some rules but rules were always tampered by common sense, but common sense doesn't seem to be very common anymore.

Not to make excuses for this man who didn't use "common sense" and good judgement, but I know many towns are now hurting for funds and they are telling the police to get fines in any way possible. Therefore things that once were overlooked now become money makers.

I know there was a video put on her by another C2 member of the Police in NYC being told they had to meet quota's and it didn't matter how they did it, just meet those quota's. So they harass people just walking down the street, egging them on to talk back or stand their ground then they arrest them for resisting arrest or some such thing. If the police don't do this, they are overlooked for promotions, lectured, could loose their jobs, or even worse are assigned "alone" in bad parts of the city where their own life is at risk. So it's either harass others or end up on the short end of the stick yourself. Knowing there are few jobs to be had if they quit or get fired they harass others.

Freedom in America.....ha ha ha. Even a 3 year old can't pee in his own yard. Welcome to the Putocractic fascism.

Dandelon, well said, just what I meant, people try to get money out of anything and its getting more and more shameful to see what lots of them are alike in times they feel pressured and just do without any consideration or own responsibility. Excuses make no sense and still those concerned will hardly get involved. The force should take some actions here for its embarrassing for all cops. Guess this is to extremely idiot to mean anything but look at whats happening on a smaller scale.

You have got to be frickin kidding me. It's no wonder the cops aren't around to catch that animal abusers, child molesters, rapist and murderers.......they are too busy harressing little boys and eating donuts

Now think about this. This boy is probably now traummatized by this BULLY of a POLICE OFFICER and will end up hating all cops and turn out to be a criminal. I would sue the city and make them pay for pain & suffering as well a Psychologial Therapy.

I believe that the Police Dept. owes that little boy and his parents an apology. You should be ashamed of yourself. Obviously you do not have any children and I would hate to see it if you did.

It must have been a really slow day for traffic and crime. I believe this matter has been settled now since the mayor got involved and rescinded the ticket. That cop must be a square badge wannabe.
