It's true: Terfel gets around with the help of Pwditat, an ex-stray who found her calling in life.

I have a feeling this has been posted before but C2NN did not pop up with a pink warning message telling me it had already been posted. I appologize if I'm stepping on any toes...not my intention. Nonetheless, enjoy!

Maybe Oscar will give Nick a helping paw! That is, if he's not like Oscar Madison on 'The Odd Couple'!

Thanks, Sweetie. Animals are so special and show us that on a daily basis. If only people had the compassion of our pets. Such a sweet story.

Thanks for the link to a heartwarming story. Sad that such stories don't get much space in prime time news! One finds similar friendships and solidarity between people who are supposedly "enemies", too ... but this seldom makes the headlines :-(

That's lovely. I see animals up for adoption where the sign says the owner went to a nursing home. It just breaks my heart. But Terfel and Pwaditat are able to live out their lives with a friend of their owner!

God bless them both and also the woman who's taken them in for her friend. I didn't see the story elsewhere so thanks for posting Barb. I wouldn't have wanted to miss this one.

My old girl is deaf and blind..maybe I need to get her a seeing eye cat :) Funny thing is, she can still play ball...she sniffs it out, gets it and returns it to me.

I read an article today in a local paper about Herman Cains new radio show playing Paul Harveys 1965 "If I were the devil" ..

Theres a bunch of "I woulds...." describing how he depicted todays troubled America.
and one said, :" I would cheapen human life as much as possible so that life of animals are valued more than human beings"
tje reason I bring this up is because animals lives are just as important IMO,if not more, because they are not the ones who destroy everything and want nothing but peace and love. We can learn ALOT from animals.

That a stray cat can walk in and befriend a blind dog KNOWING he needs guidance is just so darn wonderful Im bursting!! Just shows just how smart and innocent animals are. Bless his little heart Perhaps they were friends in a past life?..perhaps hes an angel? Maybe hes just smarter than a human and saw a need :)....If every person had the compassion of this cat, imagine the world we would live in!!

Thanks Barbcat for making my day..was having a bad week and this restored me :)

What an amazing story! I just love this sort of feel good story. Thanks Barbcat for sharing this story. It's just what I needed to read. And as Gena said, if some humans could jabehave like this team, what am amazing world we'd have to live in.
