For the folks at Blue Buffalo and Petco, the health and well-being of our furry family members is everything. That's why we've partnered together for the 4th Annual Pet Cancer Awareness Month in May to help find a cure for this terrible disease.

May is pet cancer awareness month and I'm just now getting this out! Shamee shamee on me! I didn't add 'please take action!' because I know times are 'ruff' right now. OK you guys, just could not resist spelling rough r-u-f-f!! But if you can donate a little that'd be great. And I know most of us frown at Petco but look at this way, our dogs and cats need our help!! I just wish they had made a deal that if you purchase a bag of Blue Buffalo cat/dog food, a certain percentage went to help cats and dogs fight cancer. That would've made more sense. Please do whatever you can!!

Always remember everyone that you don't need to give in big amounts, because every cent counts.
Thank you Barb.

According to and others we should all be taking more Vit D3 (and Vit K2 too) - and this they say means we can avoid infections like colds and flu - and also cancer. Might this be relevant to animals too?

Feeding animals an organic, GMO free diet and helping them to avoid chemicals and carcinogens would surely help our critters too.

Thanks for the info. I agree, donating a portion of the food sales would have been a great idea. The dog I had before Stonie was a a Great Dane, named Mojo. Sadly, he died from cancer at six years old. My poor baby.

8. The cause of cancer in pets, just like people, is largely unknown. _ They know that it is all the radiation from atomic & nuclear testing - chemical warfare testing - it never just floated away like they thought at the time

I'm all for cancer research as long as they don't use lab animals.
