After the airing of this Kenyan new story.-Creator- Ancestors I pray that this family and others like it receive all the
moral and material assistance and resources required to be successful!
Its quite apparent that Oscar is a very special nurturing female dog. I feel that Oscar is a divine canine protector. Its said its takes a village to raise children.. This dog is doing just that!
I Pray for the happiness, love, prosperity, well-being , and protection of all two legged and four legged sentient beings in this family and community -Ashe!

Thanks Barb for his lovely story. I wonder if they realised that oscar is a boy's name? I love the way she is so excited to see the children. She really loves them, doesn't she? I find that so many times God sends dogs and other animals to help humans when they are in need. I often wonder if they are angels in disguise! I will pass his on to friends.

I've known it forever and keep saying it. Most dogs are better people than people are. Amazing animals and I bless the day the first one walked in to sit by the far however many thousands of years ago that was, it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I only wish ALL dogs were accorded the respect and love this one is, if people, anyone, gave them half a chance, they would simply be amazed by what they can do. For most dogs companionship is their major gift, but they have talents far beyond what most of us ever experience. They can do anything not requiring thumbs and some things that one would think DO. Bless them all for the models of love they are.

Lovely story and nice to have such a loving dog. But how young was the mother that abandoned the children? The grandmother looks pretty young herself to me. They really need birth control to help prevent having children they do not want or can not provide for.

A simply amazing story of a dog's readiness to help humans who are really in need! We can all learn from the example that Oscar teaches- to be there for others! A dog who seems to really understand what we've all been put on earth for- to help each other out and find real purpose in our lives! This dog is at a higher spiritual level than most people! He is an awesome teacher for so many of us human students to follow! Thank you
so much Barb for posting this incredible story that will always leave an indelible print on my heart!

This was a sad but great story...I did, however, hate that the woman giving the story ended it by having to mention that the children may be at danger by the dog due to the lack of medical care received for the dog (shots, etc)....she sure could have said that their station had offered to take care of these needs for the dog to ensure that the children had their dog around for as long as necessary to keep them safe. Wonderfully loving dog....I hope that he is getting enough to eat....the poor grandmother has her hands full trying to feed herself and SEVEN children!!! I can barely feed myself most months much less 7 others....I don't know how she does it.
