Please watch this incredible video of the interaction between dogs and students/staff members. Their stress levels just melt away once they pet a therapy dog!! Enjoy!!!

Barb dear. Thanks for this! So often you post something lovely just after I have been signing the most AWFUlLpetitions and things and you have often lifted my spirits with you posts! Bless you! I can't think of any situation where animals would not benefit people. I think every nursing home and every work place should have animals! My cats are sometimes all that keep me sane! ( Well, sort of sane!) I would love a dog as this is the first time in my life that I don't have one. I wish I could, but I couldn't afford to have one with all the food necessary for all the rescued cats. I have one cat who is paritucaly stress-releasing, who sleeps in my bed and she is just an old rescued tabby cat, but she is soft and cuddly like a teddy bear and likes to hold you by putting her two 'arms' around you hand and hugging it to her and going to sleep still holding you, as if she is afraid ou might disappear if she lets go! She makes me smile really ralised my endorpins!

Oh yes Barb, I absolutely believe that animals can help to lower the stress and help in different way to make us feel better. Animals deserve a better treatment from humans!!!! Thanks for sharing.
