As a new book shows, not everything in the photographer's philosophy was black and white. Annsel Adams never made up his mind about color photography. Long before his death in 1984 at age 82, he foresaw that this "beguiling medium'' might one day.....

You can see Mr. Adams' photos on page 2 of this article. Mr. Adams was-in my opinion, one-of-a-kind. I would have loved to have met him....anyway, thought this was different from the 'usual news' we read about at C2. Take a peek at his work, leave me a comment right here, have a blessed/nice Sunday!

love Ansel Adams' works........anyone who has never seen his pics is truly missing something special......sometimes makes me wish I had lived in the era he did rather than the present...that's how powerful some of his pictures are to me.

You're so right, Barb! His "eye" left a mark on our view of the world, whether it's seen in b&w or color! Thanks for the beautiful reminder!

Personally I prefer his black & white photos since there is something very compelling and hypnotic in his subjects and black and white really captures the moment and holds it for posterity. All said, he was one of the greatest and most talented photographers mankind has ever known. Thanks Barb.
