Baby bison sick? New details emerge that suggests this poor baby bison may have been sick. Well meaning people came forward strapping the baby bison in their car to transfer it to the Ranger's Station.

Nothing can ever replace this poor baby bison's life. A citation has been issued for the Monster who did this.

Yellowstone has rules, printed in 10 languages, that this person thought didn't apply to him and the bison calf paid the price for his sense of entitlement. Thanks, Barb, wildlife should remain wildlife.

The real story is that a soft-hearted tourist saw a weak and shivering calf staying close to his vehicle (there is video showing this) for warmth and he didn't have the callousness to simply let it suffer. He took the calf to those he thought would provide support and medical attention and instead of finding a ranch or farm or other facility to try to help the calf they just killed it and issued him with a $135. fine. I challenge all of the other animal lovers on Care2 to just turn a blind eye to a suffering baby animal, despite ironclad rules. I think Care2ers should be more understanding of this man's wish to help the calf and realize that the Park explored no options to do likewise. Who really are the cruel and guilty people in this story?

This is a wild animal and the humans had no right to intervene. They could have called Park Rangers to take care of this bison.

If I found an injured or sick wild animal I could not turn a blind eye, rules or no rules. It was the Park Rangers who choose to kill the calf instead of finding another option.
