ATLANTA, GA -- (Jan 6, 2008) -- Emerson and her dog Ella in a picture taken in May, were last seen on Jan. 1 to go hiking. In October a married couple went missing after going hiking in the NC mountains. The two stories are not related.

I hope they find her so her family can have closure. I've hiked in that area myself. It is ashame a place so beautiful can turn into a hell on earth for someone. My prayers are with her family.

Me too, Linda.The one I feel the sorriest for is Ella. Poor little girl....
