Just a last word to my friends standing outside against the wall of the building and filling up their lungs with the killer: Cold turkey! The only way to beat it.

this is a different approach to the subject, written by sports columnist, Bill Gallo, of the NY Daily News...

Fancy lambasing these poor terrorist organisations, those poor cigarette companies are only trying to make a dollar. WELL at leasst at the expense of others health anyway. They will tell us that it is all freedom of choice but they do not tell the kids that their products are laced with unseen fish hooks which are extremely difficult to remove.
Smoking used to be fashionable because the companies actually gave away small packs of five to kids. If that wasn't a secret hook bait, then I don't know what it was.
Kids were given these 5 hook baits and asked to use them and then write an essay about how they used them. One enterprising young fellow did just that. He took his 5 pack home, crushed them up and put them into a pint of water. Left them for a day or two then took that water and sprayed the aphis on the rose bushes. All those beautiful aphis got up and danced the highland fling and dived to their death. How sad? Even the aphis were unable to beat this unbeatable addiction. they all died. OK so I added a bit but you get the point, the whole thing is to kill off the "unwanted",like aphis and kids and particularly adults so they can become a medical treasure trove of income for the same drug companies who would have us believe that they "care" about our health.
How many of the tobacco companies are behind the advertising against illegal drug use? Here in down under there are some 800 to 1,000 deaths each year from overdosing with illegal drugs. That is sad, but who cares about the many many thousands of "hooked" tobacco smokers who die every year from this insidious "legal" drug taking. They gave Walter Raleigh a "Sir" for bringing tobacco to europe, they should have hung him. But, then some other fellow would have introduced this wonderful lung enhancing drug to the stupid and ignorant and killed them just the same.
I watched a couple with 4 kids walking along the footpath yeaterday, thursday, and they were both smoking. They stamped out their butts on the foot path and left their baby wraps under the bushes beside the bus shelter, there was a rubbish bin on the other side of the shelter, but it seems they did not care if they were rubbishing the environment so is this tobacco thing not only a person destroying activity but also one that trains folks to be destroyers of the environment also. UGH, please open that window and give me some fresh air. Oh well, it all seems to be contaminated with tobacco smoke. How about us all planting some more trees to clean up the air a bit?
