These debt collectors can be pretty outrageous. They definitely should not be able to use social media to collect debt, because of the public nature of the media. They are essentially disclosing private information to third parties. Also, vultures shouldn't be able to purchase written-off debt to collect, when the initial debt had nothing to do with them. Let's hope the CFPB brings about improvements in fraudulent and abusive collections practices. Thanks, Suzybell.
