We should donate at least a can of food every time we shop. Most grocery stores have a bin at the front exit just for donations. It may only cost a dollar to donate, but it means the world to a hungry human. You can also donate pet food & supplies..what a great opportunity to help the people & animals we are connected to by life!

Where are the priorities? We spent billions on space and can't feed people on earth. What good does it do to know if there is whatever on Mars?? It's not benefiting anyone but some scientists. It's of no use to peoples of the world who are starving. But do they care??? Nope! I could spit I am so angry when I hear that another few billion are going into space.

It is sad to see the food banks have plentiful aging bread, though most of this is possibly mouldy. Bread that could have been distributed sooner, but now fit for animals or compost heaps.

My sentinments exactly Lee. Then you have Bush being approved of 200 billion plus to finance war in Iran. I done a small research on statistics, discovering the alcohol dysfunction costs the US approx $50+ billion each year. Just seems so wrong this finance could be healing wounded countries.
