I hope that all goes well for her - and that they are able to implant a shunt soon, to allow excess fluid to drain elsewhere & be eliminated naturally. The poor child will have a number of operations ahead - dealing with the excess skin and putting in the first shunt - & then to lengthen the shunt several times as she grows. So I hope the family keeps enough funds for the later operations (which might not be free).

The family does indeed seem to be very caring and sufficiently educated to find the help needed.
Thanks, Derek
