These tragedies are heart-rending and so very, very hard to comprehend. Lives lost...lives torn asunder...families torn by raw emotion. Let us all make room for prayers for them today.

As a mother and grandmother I just can't conceive how anyone human being can do something like this. These stories wrenches the heart and boggles the mind. Many prayers are sent their way and to all the other families were tragedy has occurred.

Celia - last week, here in sweltering Arizona, a mother and grandmother left an infant in a car while they went into a mortgage company. Were they so distracted and self-absorbed that they both forget the child existed? If someone walking through the parking lot hadn't noticed the child, she would be dead right now. I haven't heard that any charges have been filed yet, but these two need to taught a lesson.
