At the very least it must help. Obviously there are many factors and kids sitting in front of a tv for hours on end isn't helping, but given that the stations want the kids watching they can help by minimizing the harm of the advertisements the kids see.

Glad to sign, tx. I credit my parents with, as I look back on 50+ years ago, having only healthy cereals, etc. etc. in our home. Wish more parents would take this responsibility as seriously. I remember lessons learned as I market even today.
