Food and biotech corporations like Coca-Cola, Monsanto and ConAgra have the best public relations teams money can buy. A huge (and incredibly deceptive) part of these companies' PR and damage-control strategies is the buying or formation of front groups

Same (disgusting) Sh*t everywhere, and getting worse everywhere if i'm not completely mistaken
e.g. here, in .at we have (for many years) "AMA = Agrarmarkt Austria, Landwirtschafts-Institution in Österreich" which promotes meat and such, doesn't have anything to do with (certified)organic, outspends all organic/alternative's taken together by a factor of 10 upwards, claims "certifications"&similar which have exactly 0.00 meaning .... is purest pretense & marketing ...

For those who want to know more, the biggest Astroturf promoter I know is Richard Berman with his Center for Consumer Freedom which is the umbrella for many others including Activist Cash, PETA Kills, and many more designed to attack unions, Wal-Mart employees, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, while promoting mercury ingestions by pregnant women, soda consumption, and tobacco intake among others. Rich loves Monsanto and the other big corporate entities that launder their attack dollars through him to hide their nasty assaults on groups that are looking out for our best interest because that's not profitable to the 1%. Berman then uses that money to hire his own PR firm, Berman & Company. He is not our friend by any stretch of the imagination. He has no soul and in fact is called, "Dr. Evil" by most people (and he loves the moniker) including his own son.

Oh yeah, he's so 'good' he even gets his stuff here on Care2.

So do read all about this bad boy.

Here are 2 articles that tell their sorry tale!
'Study Finds Monsanto's GMO Food Claims False'

'Monsanto-Funded 'World Food Prize' Awarded to Monsanto in Ridiculously Corrupt PR Stunt'

The author in extract at top left out Nestle - they will do anything to privatise water for their bottled water - proven to turn the law upside down to get what they want.
