On Monday, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee pointed to a wealth disparity between Israelis and Palestinians and referenced a book which argued that "culture makes all the difference."

You think he'd let one whole day go by without saying something to offend someone in another country. But no.

We Brits laughed off his mistakes. I'm afraid that the Middle East is a far more serious matter.

Thanks Roger. I'm afraid many Americans can't "laugh off" his mistakes. Too many and about far too many important issues. Issues that he can not or will not ever comprehend.

I think Roger meant Rmoney's very peculiar remarks about the Olympics - and knowing Mittens he probably made more(!). If this man comes to power, world peace looks like a goner.

Who knows what "Mitt the Twit" meant? That is the problem. His "foot in mouth disease" is more than just an embarrassment, it is the GOP platform! How embarrassing is that?

This guy needs to educate himself before deciding to open his mouth.

"A wealth disparity" is between Israel and ALL of its Arab neighbors, not only between Israelis and Palestinian Arabs. The problem is that Arab societies were taken over by Islamists, who divert all life energy to their religious service, if not to Jihad.

Arafat said: something like: "You Jews value life while we Arabs value death".

That's not Romney's fault, or mistake. It's a simple truth.

I remember when John McCain said that Spain was in Central America. That was an unforgetable moment. Now Mittens R. is the entertainer. I do hope no one is taking this clown seriously.

Let him keep talking. It seems that he is campaigning for Obama.

Culture does make a great deal of difference. Why should he apologize for pointing out the obvious? Besides, politicians are still human beings and as such are prone to saying stupid things on occasion. Look at all the moronic things that have come out of Obama's mouth.

Just exactly what is the obvious?

How can Rmoney defend a remark, his remark that is indefensible? Rmoney is a walking disaster that is not fit to polish the shoes of POTUS, let alone be the POTUS>

Bob, just wondering. Are you basically obtuse, or are you as socially inept as Mitt Romney? Insinuating that the population of Israel is more cultured than the Palestinians is not only bigoted, but racist to boot. I think it is pretty pathetic when a comment about economic disparity between OCCUPIED WEST BANK AND GAZA is attributed to culture rather than a territory which has been subject to a BRUTAL MILITARY OCCUPATION. For you to actually not even recognize this, again demonstrates how little you actually know of the world.
