Thought a nasty campaign season couldn't get any worse? Look no further than Buffalo, NY. A group called the Committee To Save The Erie County Republican Party has reportedly been circulating an incendiary attack ad lambasting a New York lawmaker...

This man is being lynched because he voted with his conscience. His party didn't take it kindly when he voted in favor of allowing gay marriage, and apparently they never forgive or forget once they've been crossed. The party of "God" is also the party of "hate." How ironic that a group that calls itself "the Committee To Save The Erie County Republican Party" is showing the country to what depths it's willing to sink for revenge. If the GOP keeps up its dirty work, someone on the national level is going to have to start a group that calls itself "the Committee to Save the Republican Party." Come to think of it, when you have the Koch brothers on your side, you don't need the support of the rest of the country.

As TomCat S says - the Republicans are the 'Supply SIde' sort of imitation Christian - they are so filled with hate they completely forget (if they ever knew) that God IS Love and that Jesus came to save us - not fill us with hate! I am glad that he voted with his consicence for all those out there who are gay.

Mark Grisanti should consider changing his party affiliation and go with a party that represents the future: the Green Party. The Green Party strongly supports the end of discrimination against all people regardless of class, race, orientation, etc., etc. The Green Party will legalize same-sex marriage.

Thanks Carrie for the link to the article. The GOP it seems has now sunk so low as to practicing political cannibalism of one of their own. Read and noted.

Perhaps one of the Republicans here can explain how this attack is ANY different from that of fanatical Muslims, the Phelps mob or any other fringe group of lunatics?

Eisenhower must be spinning in his grave!

THIS is what we want to show the world to represent democracy?
