It feels like we've time warped back to the 1950's. . .our grade school teachers are telling us how to get under our desks for weekly air raid drills. . . in a few years the drills, sirens and planes flying overhead stop as nationwide studies end so that plain brown cases of numbered plain white tubes of toothpaste don't come anymore and we finally find out who had flouride and who had plain. . .but then a new dread takes hold as we are told that all fifth graders will now be required to go to a one-hour co-ed sex education class. . .god forbid...and we pray that something will save us before we get to fifth! [It appears that many had their prayers answered. . .]

Why are conservatives so obsessed with sex? It isn't the be all and end all of human existence. It is just a part of life. Sexual ignorance does not make one "innocent".
It does not render youngsters from lying, cheating, stealing, bullying, cruelty and so forth. Surely those are more relevant to our collective "innocence".

As much as I am for sex ed, I question Big Pharma finding another market to focus on and sell too.

Fear this or fear that conservatives seem to always need a boogie man to either hate or fear. I guess sex is that boogie man...
