Republicans are a scourge on America. We need to vote them all OUT.

just one more reason not for voting for any Greedy Oil Poisoning party....unfortunately, it seems that close to half our country's voters have other issues....willingness to remain ignorant, willingness to be blind to the truth or accept the lies, willingness to accept greed/fear/selfishness/laziness in environmental decisions, willingness to create wars and live only in the present time....

live optimistically, live TOGETHER/UNITED as a country, live for peace, live for the whole world and the future.....VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN...since a green party candidate wouldn't win and/or have a congress to win with...

I love Rachel Maddow - and she is right that every single time the Tea Party and GOP come up to an inconvenient fact they try and shoot the messenger and attack non-partisan institutions - they are quite, quite INSANE!!! It is good to see the facts and figures though.

LOVE that Rachel Maddow!! She is a pistol!! Thanks for this--I go to bed too early to watch her. Would send Carrie another green star but cannot. The Dems must win!

It's the GOP's fundamental tactic. Lie, deny - repeat ad nauseum until the repetitions are believed because they are so incessant.

Those who believe are the selfish self promoters. Rational, informed who want the best for the world ignore GOP lies.

Over 10 years, the total revenue loss from the tax cuts to the weathiest .... comes to $3.9 trillion, according to the US Treasury but MITT will fix that by extending more tax cuts and cutting benefits to VETS SEniors---Children and the POOR using Ryan's Budget. Mitt controls a lot of America ........... does America want th eir owner/Master to be President? Maybe AmericaRomney may only have $250,000,000 of "wealth", most stored off-shore .. maybe America is ready for total capitulation to the wealthy, to the 1/100th of 1% crowd. but I'm not. I dislike him immensely and can't stomach the site of him and trying to look saintly. but looks more like an idiot to me.

Why not bring facts to counter their arguments?

Catheriene O...I think you are using the wrong terms if Romney / Ryan are your choice as their platform and dogma are that of a Fascist nature...by defination of the word itself ....when you compare it's meaning to their plateform/policies/extremist agenda etc.

Khadija O...what I do know is that some facts beyond the few that you had to provide in order to join care2 would be a welcome thing for others to see on your profile page. ..same for Catherine O..Without such.. and the joined dates... kind of make it appear that each of you joined to leave a few comments just prior to elections only ? I hope that isn't the case as it doesn't add an credibility to your comments, in my opinion.
If you aren't sharing simple friendship facts about yourself then it gives the impression to some that facts aren't really of interest to you ...at least that's how I take those who's profile pages appear as yours do. I think it'd be nice to know more about you as a member and all ,regardless of your political choices, ya know..Kind of the neighborly thing to do and it helps with your personal causes to provide information ..of the standard form at least..makes others feel more comfortable with your opinions as well as taking anything you comment on as something interesting if nothing else........

....just say'n .

Jae, when I looked at Catherine's page it claimed a Green Party allegiance...which seems at odds with her comment here.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie.
Do I have to pull my dictionary out again? Democracy: Gov't by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives. Socialism: A system or theory of social organization in which the producers possess both political power and production and distribution means.
Plutocracy: A gov't by the wealthy. A wealthy class that controls the gov't.
Oligarchy: A gov't by the few, esp. a small faction. Those making up such a faction. A state so governed.

I think it's clear to most of us what Willard Romney stands for....the 1% "moneyed class."
