We need a more substantial approach to the problem than hope alone, hope needs to change into action!
System change, not climate change!!!

Sad to think that it takes such a terrible act of nature to make people's mind to srart thinking about changes for the futrure.. They need to be planning for the future, not just wishing nad hoping. Thanks Carrie

I think devine intervention took place with Sandy hitting at the time it did and for us to see that we will have destroyed the earth. This could be our last calling to make changes or kill all living things on this earth.

I really hate to rain, snow, sleet, hail, and blow on your parade but the above article is nothing is not totally detached from the political reality in Washington D.C. after the 2012 election. The US House is still completely controlled by Repug/Tea Bagged and no real Climate Change legislation will be either reported out of any of the Repug controlled Committees or brought to the House floor for a vote and if even through some act of God it did get to the floor IT WOULD NOT PASS. You can add to that the fact the fact that there are still more than enough Repug/Tea Bagged Senators to filibuster un to its death any Climate Change legislation. As important and necessary as Climate Change legislation is for the Earth and all life on it there is not a chance in Hell that any will ever see the light of day.

yes it should be viewed more seriously now, especially since he did see the effects of the devastation himself.
