Thanks for pointing out all the best of this city! We New Yorkers greatly appreciate your kindness and sensitivity immediately following Hurricane Sandy!

Thanks for the Holiday Cheer! May it return to you- 10 fold!

I lived in North New Jersey for over 4 yrs...we were 10 minutes away from NYC...just a quick ride thru the Lincoln Tunnel. This was in the early 1970's and I saw things in NYC that would AMAZE you!

Numbers 16 and 10 are so NYC. Number 10 is of course quite sad in its way. There "women"...were either clueless to this man's existence, or they didn't care. I would bet they were not from the area, because most New Yorkers would not humiliate a man like that.

You know Allan, I felt so awful when I saw that man in #10. It made me hurt inside.

I love New York. Having been raised in Philly, PA, and Cherry Hill, NJ in the 50's and 60's, the Holidays up in the Big City was an annual event for all our family members. I have good memories of the people, events, and food from NY. I sure do miss Junior's in Brooklyn too.!!!!

Seems to me that it would be a great place, only place in the world you can be who you are and still no matter what come together in times of need and help one another. That's one thing you for sure only see in NYC these days. You can only be inspired by the city and it's people.
