Republican governors are ratcheting up pressure on President Obama to scale back a key provision of his health-care law. In a letter to Obama last week, 11 governors asked for a meeting "as soon as possible" to negotiate for greater control...

On the weekends I like to watch UP with Chris Hayes and Melissa Harris Perry, both have interesting guests and take on issues like this in great detail. The idea behind Medicaid is to help those in need not to pacify the gang of governors who are more interested in stuffing their own pockets and campaign coffers than assisting their own constituents.

In reality the insurance companies have never had such a boon as Obamacare which demands that everyone have some form of insurance. This insurance must be purchased somewhere, and it sure isn't on a bargain table - but the increase in consumers will bring down the prices. That's win-win if the GOP could stop complaining long enough to do their homework.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going - they don't sit around whining about how unfair life is and how they simply can't .... Obviously, it's not the people they govern these men are worried about...

Leeway is just another way of saying kill. Because that is what these morons would like to do. As if they gave a rats patootie about the old, the disabled and the poor in their states. Not part of their 1% base so just let them die off or better yet use Mitt's insurance recommendation, the emergency room where all of us pay rather than put in place humane and reasonable preventive medicine and save both lives and dollars. Gawd these people are stupid.

The only counter-balance to all the present madness (read the small print, even Pelosi said it had to first be passed, then read away from "the fog"). It's all in the detail, folks, and we're all gonna get burned).

I'm not certain "how the increase in consumers will bring down the prices", it might just do the opposite.
