Since the start of fiscal year 2011, President Barack Obama has signed into law approximately $2.4 trillion of deficit reduction for the years 2013 through 2022. Nearly three-quarters of that deficit reduction is in the form of spending cuts, while the...

US citizens have already paid enough...from bailing out Wall Street and Big Banks to friggin' tax breaks for Corporate Welfare and the Elite 1%,,..We don't need to pay anymore through cuts to Entitlements. We've done our fair share of compromising. Now it's corporations and the elites turn to do ALL the compromising. Fair is fair. Shared Sacrifice after all.

Yep, we're ENTITLED to our EARNED and deferred income. What makes the GOP think they're ENTITLED to their paychecks and full benefits for doing nothing but obstruction and harm to the American people. They need a reminder they are in PUBLIC service, not private CORPORATE service.

It is time the American people took back what is theirs and would be taking control companies that have gotten entitlements and move the majority of their workforce overseas and just take over wall streets and banks. The one who do not like it can leave. Mother Russia is waiting for you.

My father used to say " the squeaky wheel gets the oil". How true this is when it comes to the republicans who always want all of us to bow to their wishes even though we are in the majority. They scream and wring their hands over what they deem unnecessary ( read benefit for anyone else). We need to put just as much pressure on them to finally do what is right for the country and stop bullying and scaring people into doing what they want. Yell back, keep yelling until they hear us. Write to any republican and tell them what you think.
Make sure they understand that you aren't going to put up with it anymore and tell them you will work to put them out of office. Either work with democrats in a responsible way or be put out of your cushy jobs. Now they are screaming about Benghazi too---they are outraged, even though they know very well that they themselves cut the budget for embassy security. They will scream about what happened until the country believes it was the Presidents fault. Not so, don't believe it.

Thank you for sharing Carrie. It will be wait and see, but thinking the President is on the right track.

Thanks, Carrie. The GOP should study what havoc austerity is wreaking on Europe. A recipe for disaster for 98% of us. They need to raise the debt ceiling, cut the Pentagon budget, place a Financial Transaction Tax on Wall St. and make Congress start earning their newly raised pay....for starters.
