Another reason this putz should never be President or a Senator again.....playing party politics while ignoring facts.

Hillary to Rand Paul - 'IF IT WERE UP TO ME, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A POSITION" And this is why the Republicans fail and why their party is failing. Because they are just plain stupid! Their platform is the height of idiocy.

Inexperience, rude, and generally not worth listening to, that's Rand Paul - a fool playing at Senator.

Rand Paul is a Kentucky-- hillbilly who didn't know that people in war zones are in danger all the time and no one was able to prevent 43 people from 2002-2008 who were killed in consulate and embassies overseas. The same kind of investigation went on then too.
No one blamed the then --- Sec of State RICE
But these GOP neatherthals in that room are beyond help and I'm beginning to wonder if there is ONE BRAIN amongst any in congress......all they seem to know to do is be devious, liars and a cancer to our country. .

Gee Kit, you just described most of the republican congress!

Who's Rand Paul? has he even hatched from the egg yet?
The only sentense worth reading here was from Sen Murphy, Kudos to him.

Rand Paul is simply trying to score points for himself.
What he has done in the past and with this new position, he is making himself known as
someone who does not have all of the facts. Let him continue "mouthing off" and people will
see what he really is: an incompetent know nothing.

Hilary is way above him in smarts and intelligence.

If anything, Rand Paul should be relieved of his newfound position.

Ty, Carrie.

Thanks Carrie for the link to the article by Luke Johnson and the video clip. I would be very "relieved" if Mr Paul actually knew the facts and not just play at "grandstanding". That man shouldn't be holding an elected office at any level of government (not even dog catcher) IMHO. Read, viewed and noted.

I must say I did enjoy watching Secretary Clinton swatting the irrelevant and annoying GOP flies.

Rand Paul should be ashamed of himself for saying such terrible things. He's only posturing and trying to make himself look good, but he's only making himself out to be what he truly is: an insuffrable, arrogant SOB. Thanks Carrie.

Rand Paul (Real Prick) . . . excuse me, did I say that?

RP needs to take a chill pill until his attempt at re-election at which time I hope he is soundly defeated. For an ophthamologist, he certainly doesn't see very clearly. And to quote others, I wouldn't elect him to be a dog catcher.

I watched the one tape and then several others on the same subject came up. From what I could see, the Republican/Teabaggers are on a personal vendetta against Mrs Clinton for an unknown reason. Is it perhaps in an attempt to discredit her before 2016? If it is, they sure are running scared. Theywould talk and ask questions but not allow her to answer. Kudos for Mrs Clinton as she continued to speak despite the rude interruptions of the Republican/Teabagger senators. Yes Carrie, I too enjoyed "watching Secretary Clinton swatting the irrelevant and annoying GOP flies. "

Hillary Faces Down The Angry Men
From simpleton Ron Johnson to delusional Rand Paul, GOP senators swung at the Secretary of State and hit themselves.

Lilke he would ever be President, dream on Rand Paul...We watched much of the iteraction between Clinton and the grandstanding Senators of the GOP. It is obvious they want to discredit her now so her chances of winning the Oval Office in 2016 will be defeated. Problem is, they made complete fools of themselves, gave speeches instead of wanting to solve the problem. Maybe if Congress had released money that was already allocated in order to support the people in places like Benghazi this tragic event would not have happened in the first place. But, we all know the thugs in the GOP would never admit to being wrong.

They are only doing it to harass, discomfit and impair Democrats. They are sore that Obama got reelected and they still want him to fail. This is just one of the "thousand cuts" that they are determined to inflict. Wish that they would pull their finger out and work for the good of their country instead.

Noted...thanks Carrie. I saw parts of the testimony late last night...what a beating Sec Clinton gave these "legislators." Pat A...I absolutely agree. Does Sen Rand Paul seriously believe he could be president of this country (and if by some miscarriage of justice, he were, does he really think Sec Clinton would have served under him?). It's almost embarrassing to watch elected officials be so devoid of the facts. And it's almost sad to watch Sen McCain go through his diatribe recounting the voices in his head that he hears telling him that Amb Rice lied (which she did not) as well. These men are truly angry, misinformed, hopeless people. Sen Paul...Benghazi was the "worst tragedy since 9/11"...really? It's definitely a tragedy that 4 people died, no question about it. But the "worst,,,,since 9/11?" How about the scores of incidents of multiple, double digit deaths in the Iraq and Afghan wars, the multiple school shootings, the hurricanes (including Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Wilma, and Sandy), etc. What an absolutely stupid statement. And the legislators who voted to cut funds for security of these embassies should feel that they have blood on their hands when they denied Sec Clinton's requests for additional funding well before Benghazi.

When I saw this interaction of Rand Paul and Hillary Clinton on the news - I laughed out loud!
I was wondering what Hillary was thinking:
1) "On what earth could you ever believe you could be President?"
2) "On what earth could you ever believe I would work for YOU?"
What a joke...what a FOOL this guy is!

Can't send you another green star yet, Chris, but you sure deserve one. Those are perfect questions. Rand Paul is a complete fool. And will never be elected to any national office. Hillary's answer should have been a simple one, "bite me, Rand, you know nothing, grandstanding hypocrite."

Rand Paul...named after the fraudster Ayn Rand who did take SS and Medicare when she was able .
Rand is just another complete wacko from a southern state . The south declared and started petitions to secede from the north .Please let's help them and give amnesty to anyone that flees the south .

Patty, that would be your personal opinion. Rand Paul simply stated that he would have fired her on the spot. It's just an opinion. Perhaps others feel the same way. We have to remember that four Americans died because there wasn't enough security there after they documented that they needed more security.

So, we are dealing with Rand Paul's opinion that he would have relieved her of her job. We still need to learn more. Bottom line for me is that I continue to feel sorry for Hillary Clinton. I watched and listened to the DNC throw her under the bus for the presidential nomination to make way for The Messiah. They then threw her a bone to be Secretary of State.

I think Secretary Clinton handled this attack with much grace and self control. The arrogance of Rand Paul's statement-"If I were President..." would be both appalling and laughable if this were not such a serious situation.Too bad these Republicans did not apply the same zealousness of inquiry to the failure of the Bush administration to properly read and understand the intelligence given to them before the 9/11 attack which warned them that a large scale act of terrorism was imminent. And the outright lies told by the same administration regarding the purported WMD's in Iraq before our illegal and pre-emptive attack of Iraq were never given any serious investigation either, even those those lies caused trillions of dollars of military spending and the loss of thousands of American soldiers lives and hundreds of thousands of Iraqui lives. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. But as in the 2012 elections, they never seem to learn the value of not throwing stones while they live in their glass house.

I know it would be improper, but Hillary ought to have told him, "Watch out, Mr. "wet behind the ears," before I relieve you of your testicles!"
It seems like someone ought to have done that for Papa Ron, along, long time ago.

Yes, Linda, just like where in hell were all those drooling at the mouth 2nd amendment supporters when Bush and Cheney were destroying the Bill of Rights, and whatever other bits of the Constitution they could get their hands on?
But, seriously, now, maybe we ought to root for Rand to run for president, soon. He could show how inclusive he is by choosing a woman for his running mate: Sarah (I'm sorry, I'll go wash out my mouth, or fingers, shortly) or Michelle. Hell, we could put up Alfred E, Newman, ("What, me worry?") and win!
What's that, you say? Oh, now I get it, he IS Alfred. Wow, who wouldda thunk?
No disrespect meant for "Mad" Magazine.

Other elements about RP: hit the news more than others by his personal holds on bills in the Senate (the one thing both parties agreed to make go bye-bye for good) and his father has distanced himself from many of the statements, positions, policies he has espoused.

Noted with thanks Carrie. Hillary Clinton is a brave and brilliant woman and could not have done better at this job she held. Rand Paul is the back end of a horse, and I will have to ask the horses to excuse me on that statement. I would like to smack his smug simple face.
