Apparently at least one GOP member still has a sense about adhering to the law and his oath of office!

Thanks Carrie for the post and link to the article by Laura Vozzella. Kudos to Speaker Howell for showing some commonsense and ethical backbone. Read and noted

If you can't win on the issues, and you can't get people to fall for your lies . . . there's always cheating. Betcha this guy Howell gets primaried, that seems to be what's happening to any Republican who isn't a card-carrying member of The Petty, Spiteful, Vindictive Thug's Club, marching in lock-step with the Farthest Of The Far Right. Backstabbing seems to come naturally to some people. (I try so hard to be nice, but sometimes my bitterness just gets away from me.)

I know I've sworn never to vote Republican, but this guy might actually deserve my vote. Too bad I don't live in Virginia.

This was one of the smarmiest, lowest, underhanded, foul, deceitful things I have ever witnessed. SHAME ON THE GOP. This is the only man with a conscience and backbone? I would give money to his campaign for this. Thank you Howell!
