Muckrakers and activists have been working to expose the brutality of industrialized meat production since Upton Sinclair's writing of The Jungle in 1906.

This is about living beings! We need whistle blowers and surveillance camera's! We are talking about the torturing and abuse of animals in a work environment! Not a frickin paper plant!

Thank God for whistle blowers. It is outrageous how we are treating animals.

FULL DISCLOSURE= No hiding behind closed doors!!! Besides the countless disgraces that exist for the animals, human beings would end up being effected negatively, in many ways as well. If I had my way, each and every slaughter house would close down their doors forever. TY so much Carrie!!~

What sort of monsters are these - they are despicable horrendous sub humans - and they think this is right. How disgusting that we cannot treat our animals with love, respect and kindness they deserve. They ask for nothing more than this. Send this horror down to Cape Town - we can deal with him here in a most befitting way.

"If you don't have this freedom of the press, then all these little fellows are weaseling around and doing their monkey business and they never get caught." ―Harold R. Medina

"Cruelty to animals is one of the most significant vices of a low and ignoble people. Wherever one notices them, they constitute a sign of ignorance and brutality which cannot be painted over even by all the evidence of wealth and luxury." ― Alexander Von Humbolt

OK, we can't report government surveillance, we can't report oil companies' activity, we can't report professional animal abuse -

Noted w/many thanks for posting, Carrie. ALEC strikes again! This group has so much money and is involved in so many issues to support the GOP. They are a hateful bunch. Now, they're funding a war on whistleblowers. When will this all end? We've got to know the truth to be able to fight back.
