The outbreak of Cyclospora in Iowa and Nebraska that has caused hundreds of confirmed illnesses has been linked to Mexican-grown Taylor Farms salad mix, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

I don't eat Big Food, Big Chains, Big Restaurants. It pays to be a food snob and shop organic at Farmer's Markets and local, organic, sustainable restaurants instead.

Try not to buy non-American produce because there aren't enough food inspetors to make certain the food coming in is safe. Also don't frequent fast food, or even the medium food cahins. And definitely won't buy salad mixes since you never know where the contents are from - many sources mixed together does not always mean safe. Noted with thanks.

A friend of mine has a child that got sick from this stuff. And he is not over it yet, as of last Friday! This stuff is aweful!!
