Salmonella was confirmed in a number of people hospitalized earlier this month after consuming a traditional Ecuadorean dish containing guinea pig at a Minneapolis street fair.

So, they "suspect" it was tainted guinea pig meat, even though 81 of those people didn't eat that?! O.K., got my head spinning, now. Who is running this show?!

In some countries and cultures guinea pigs are considered a delicacy and are eaten regularly. Fortunately we are not one of those countries or cultures!

Not certain about guinea pigs, but I have no plans to go to Minneapolis.
