No level of radiation that reaches our shores is acceptable. And who thinks they have the right to determine this for us?!

Noted. I'd also previously read that it reached our western shores quite awhile back. Does anyone remember all the "remnants" that washed up on AK, WA & OR beaches? Not only that, but after all these lies stated by TEPCO, how can we believe anything that's said? Isn't their first rule: "Never cause a panic"?
And, what about all the sea life? Will there be mutations and deaths? Seems like some have happened already.

The debris from the tsunami was most likely not contaminated as it was dispersed into the ocean at the time of the wave. The radiation leak was not as immediate.

This is one world and the affects will reach us all. The reason is clear to develop alternative and clean energy sources.

Noted with thanks Carrie. I have not heard of any studies being done on the west coast of Canada? We did get a lot of debris on some of the beaches.

That's terrible! There won't be anymore people going to the beaches for fear of getting radiation poisoning.

Coraz bardziej niepokojące wiadomości dochodzą z Fukuszimy, a miało być tak bezpiecznie.
