A controversial plan to kill as many as 5,000 wild badgers is underway in southwest England. The purpose of the initiative is to prevent the spread of tuberculosis from badgers to cattle.

Despite all the protest from the UK and the rest of the world and despite the fact that it is nowhere near certain that badgers spread TB, the government has given the OK and the cull is going on as we speak.
Damn them!

This government is delusional. These cuties pose no threat. It's always about those damn farmers and their needs. it should be a criminal offense 4 humans to cull any animal. Thanks Carrie

Maybe when enough people get sick from their farm runoffs, the officials, everywhere, will start doing something about the farmers, and leave the animla alone...Wishful thinking.
