This is just so horrible that this Florida school remained open until 2011. Maybe they will be able to find some of the employees from before that, and when they do may they rot in hell. Kudos to the man who bought some of the property, as he had promised his sister that the 13 year old should be buried with his family. With all the various reports of the sheer violence being done to these young boys, I cannot believe that this wasn't looked into years ago., Thank You Carrie.

Did it really take 111 years to figure out that children were being killed or did no one care? These atrocities were committed in other schools. we know because of the many accounts from boys and girls sent away for being boys and girls. The remains are being sent to one of the best Forensic Anthropology labs in the country, she said with a touch of pride. Though this is not a search for a serial killer but many guards and administrators that over time convinced themselves that THIS child gave them no choice.

Any decent person would not have worked there for very long.

Sounds if this "horror" place was a good fit for sociopaths, psychopaths
and for those bent on hurting, inflicting pain as in sadists.

Glad this place, Arthur G. Dozier School, has been closed permanently.

The employees who "worked" there should be thoroughly questioned
and if any had knowledge, a hand, in the beatings, killings get the maximum
sentence to prison terms.

Wonder if there are other places like this Dozier School elsewhere in the country...

Ty, Carrie.

Unfortunately Jim, I think there are far too many places like the Dozier School.

To straszna, ponura tajemnica - może teraz znajdzie wyjaśnienie i chłopcy zostaną pochowani z szacunkiem.

Agree with Carrie - there were many other places, not just schools, but mental institutions, so-called health centers and hospitals. Can't forget the prisons...Sadly ths school is not an exception and people looking the other way are too many to count.
