TEPCO finally admitted in July that radioactive water has been leaking from the plant and is now taking steps to try to prevent any future leaks from ending up in the Pacific Ocean.

So sad and so didn't have to happen in the first place.

They should have done something about the leak before it got this bad. Thanks for sharing, Carrie.

I'm not sure about this one, Carrie. A company using the growing problems of the Japanese in Fukushima and the fear of radiation to try and sell some clay as quack medicine to protect yourself? We call it "one man's death is another man's bread", there is always a way to make money from the misery of others. But what I fear most is that some unsuspecting and gullible Care2 members may actually spend their money on it because they think it works. And I promise you, it'll do nothing but make your wallet lighter.

Hope the higher ups at TEPCO all got fired - no perks. Still don't understand how an ice wall, in warming ocean waters, will stop the spread of radioactive crap...another story.

Agree that that if there's a sucker born every day, there seems to be ten people who will take their last dollar for Snake Oil - or in this case, clay.

We can't protect everyone, we can only hope they will have learned some lessons from their folly. It may seem heartless to say that, but been there, done that, learned, and now much wiser - and careful.
