The Department of Agriculture (USDA) is planning to roll out a meat inspection program nationwide that will allow pork plants to use their own inspectors, but it has a history of producing contaminated meat at American and foreign plants.

Privatized meat inspection, we are sliding back to the days before USDA. If you do eat meat, be very afraid. The next meat you buy may be dirty and diseased.

Noted. Thanks for the info, Carrie. So, I'll take my fracked water with some GMO corn, diseased beef and throw in some of those contaminated spices. Just gonna throw my hands up in the air now and eat whatever they're putting in ice cream now I guess.
Seriously, this must be addressed.

Sorry Michael, but vegans and vegetarians aren't any safer than carnivores.

The USDA is basically letting the meat companies regulate themselves. Privatizing regulation and capitalism are grand when they are combined! That effort will ensure the safety and well being of the American people and their children.

Go Vegetarian. Save your health, save the planet and know you're not eating feces.

Sad state of affairs! Not a good idea to allow meat companies to regulate themselves.
Thanks Carrie.

Just when you think the USDA has done about the lowest thing...along comes this piece of Sh*t. Why do we have laws?? Why are we still paying any of these agencies from taxpayer money?? They are so obviously in the pockets of Big Business...Getting fed up!
