"Fatalities of golden eagles at modern wind facilities represent only two percent of all documented sources of human-caused eagle fatalities, while only a few bald eagles have died in collisions in the history of the industry."

I wish we would improve/ expand roof top solar rather than wind farms in raptor habitat.

Definitely agree--solar over wind. Bless all who love Mother Earth.

How sad that those majestic birds have to die this way. I favour solar energy instead of windmills.

I think solar energy would be better. Thanks for sharing, Carrie.

I have never been a fan of wind power and I never will be. Solar and/or scalar wave all the wave. The problem I have with solar is that some of the facilities do take up a lot of land; can seriously impact the environment and the storage capacity needs to be increased.

There has got to be a way to stop this needless death of birds and bats. Why not led, or solar, lights??

I think the need to change our energy supplier from fossil to green will require a combination of green sources. What works efficiently at one location may not get the job done at another.

If every house roof had solar panels including those which generate hot water as well as heat and used first class insulation etc to minimise heat loss we would not need wind farms which I am totally against. The current government plan to put a massive bank of nearly 500 ft high wind turbines off the coast of some of the best coast line in the UK~ although there will be a hearing to hear objections I fear it will be nodded through.
