A new report released by the Violence Policy Center entitled Blood Money II: How Gun Industry Dollars Fund the NRA (pdf) disproves the NRA's claim that it receives no money from the gun industry.

Noted...thanks Carrie. Roseann said just what I was thinking. I think it's alarming that not only does this group seem unphased by the increase in gun violence, they seem to revel in the opportunities to raise more money.

Roseann and Thomas have it right, but, as mentioned many times before: no one ought to be surprised at the money gift,THE NRA IS A LOBBYING, REPEAT, LOBBYING organization for just these folks, the arms and munitions industry.
They are not phased by the increase in gun violence, the bastards probably applaud it in their hearts.

This is not a surprise given the NRA demonstrated the sensitivity of a kick in the teeth after mass shooting nd blamed everything but guns. If ever there was a disconnect from reality it has to be the NRA's attitude to gun crime. Of course there are the regular gun trolls on this site who spew the same old trash about the second amendment seem to ignore a simple fact about the NRA. The NRA is a marketing organization, and its flagship product is fear. This is particularly evident when the Gun nuts how they are prone to conspiracy theory, conservative groupthink, and pulling bullshit out of their ass.

This shouldn't suprise anyone here and it's doubtful the NRA isn't in bed with other gun manufacturers.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie. I'm disgusted beyond belief. Seems this all may be heading towards a "critical mass" though. Besides messaging my Congress members to fight for an Assault Weapons Ban, elimination of multiple clips, and better background checks, signing all petitions for more gun restrictions....I can only watch in horror when nothing is being done to prevent these horrible massacres.
